This morning, between 11:00 a.m and noon, a hawk decided to ground itself in my backyard. It sat flat on the grass and spread out its wings as if to flex its muscles. The wings stayed spread out, and it seemed that the hawk merely was there to get some sun, and the feel of the ground under its talons. For once, it was looking up at the sky and not down at the earth!
A hawk in my backyard ... I don't know if it was a "Lord Hawk" or a "Lady Hawk," ... but it doesn't matter ... this was one of God's magnificent creatures!
