Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Gets a New Name                     by David Tuller, "WELL" blogs, NY Times 2/10/2015  ____________________                   The Institute of Medicine on Tuesday proposed a new name and new diagnostic criteria for the condition that many still call chronic fatigue syndrome. ... An institute panel recommended that the illness be renamed “systemic exertion intolerance disease,” a term that reflects what patients, clinicians and researchers all agree is a core symptom: a sustained depletion of energy after minimal activity, called postexertional malaise.

*** My take on it:  Why don't they just call it what it is: SLOTHISM.

... and it is not a disease ... it is a predisposition!

Slothism is a perfectly normal state to be in when you are old!!!

       Daily sleep:        15 – 18 hours

*** If you ask me, hanging on to a tree limb all day long is exhausting
